The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi was established in 1998 to honour extraordinary New Zealand artists, and to help them make their mark.

The Arts Foundation exists to boost opportunities for New Zealand artists and amplify their impact. The Arts Foundation gives financial gifts to New Zealand's most outstanding artists. The Arts Foundation runs the arts-dedicated crowdfunding platform Boosted and also promotes artists and creatives in New Zealand via video, social media and mainstream media to help show the value the arts have on Aotearoa, New Zealand.
